    Waterborne Transport

The Waterborne Transport Committee held its meeting on a solar catamaran in Biel, Switzerland in April.

THE WORLD’S largest solar catamaran, ESM MobiCat, was not only the venue for the official dinner and sunset cruise, but the Waterborne Transport Committee actually convened on the vessel for its meeting in Biel, Switzerland, on 19-20 April. Hosted by Ulrich Sinzig of Aare Seeland Mobil and Beat Rüfli of Bielersee Schifffahrt, the meeting focused on the elaboration of a report on the accessibility of waterborne vessels as well as preparing the Committee’s contributions to the 58th World Congress. The Committee also discussed its working programme.
