About: 

Growing with Public Transport: Striving for Innovation, Quality and Efficiency

The event will be organised in 13-17 April 2014 in Tokyo, and is locally hosted by East Japan Railway Company (JR East) and Tokyo Metro Co., Ltd. Tokyo leads in many aspects of public transport development and innovation. This Assembly now comes to meet in Tokyo, where we will discuss and share hot topics including: rail and bus operation and innovation, high speed rail and its role amongst other public transport modes, advanced customer service and quality improvement, etc.

The programme will feature scientific meeting, technical visit and a study tour.

The event is open to UITP Members and non-members, yet UITP members have priorities.
