UITP is proud to launch an award competition to reward creativity in the field of light rail design, construction and/or operation. This award competition is open to operating companies and organising authorities involved in the LRT field. In front of a high-level international platform of delegates, the winners will be given their prize at the closing ceremony of the Conference. Certainly another highpoint of this Light Rail Event!

The Jury is composed of the members of the UITP Light Rail Committee and will hand out 3 awards. The winners will be announced during UITP Conference in Istanbul on 11-13 June 2008.
The deadline for submission of your material is 31st December 2007. Successful candidates will be notified a month before the conference about the results.
