    Standardised On-Road Tests Cycles

    Development Policy for Public Transport Trolleybus Subsystems


    THE NEW guidelines for Standardised On-Road Tests Cycles (SORT) contain, amongst others, a new definition of acceleration and an improved description of measurement methodology as well as measurements to other sizes of vehicles. The publication also contains a simple spreadsheet for direct selection and calculation of conducted consumption measurements. The CD-ROM will be available from 25 January 2010. To order, click here.

    Human factors reduce aggression and fare evasion

    The Bus Committee and the former Human Resources Commission are pleased to announce that their joint working group on ‘Aggression and Fare evasion in public transport’ has recently issued a new report entitled ‘Human factors reduce aggression and fare evasion’. The full report is available free of charge from UITP in paper format and on CD-Rom. It can also be downloaded here.
