Role

UITP is managed and represented by the Executive Board, which carries out the decisions of the General Assembly and has power of decision in all association matters not reserved for the General Assembly.

The Executive Board manages the finances, property and real estate of UITP; sets policy on association matters such as membership, structure and rules of procedure.


Composition

The Executive Board is composed of the UITP President and Vice Presidents.

Each Vice President is either a representative of a UITP Division or of a geographical region.

Each UITP Division is represented in the Executive Board by the Chairperson (or a Vice Chairperson) of its Assembly. It can be said that the Executive Board is representative of the whole UITP.

The Executive Board members are by definition members of the Policy Board.
