Governance structure


The General Assembly, which comprises all full members of UITP, amongst others, approves membership fee levels; modifications of UITP by-laws and internal rules; budgets and accounts.

The Executive Board executes General Assembly's decisions and sets policy on association matters such as finances; structure; rules and procedure.

The Policy Board is the ultimate decision-making body of UITP on professional matters. In this context, it approves all the official international policy positions of UITP on transport issues as well as UITP’s international work programme.

The General Secretariat executes the decisions of the Executive and Policy Boards and carries out the day-to-day business of UITP.
