Every two years UITP organises the Global Public Transport Summit, previously known as the "UITP World Congress and Exhibition". The event offers participants a unique opportunity to discover the very latest public transport market developments and learn from industry leaders. The networking opportunities amongst like-minded professionals and the business opportunities available are unrivalled. Based on a multiple-session congress and a major exhibition of industrial products and services, the World Congress and Exhibition is simply unmissable for public transport and sustainable mobility professionals the world over. This event attracts up to 2,500 congress participants and 20,000 exhibition visitors.
Regional Congress and Exhibition
Attending a Regional Congress and Exhibition offers the ideal chance to discover the latest trend-setting industry innovations and developments from world-renowned experts through the perspective of a specific region. These events also provide excellent business and networking opportunities amongst the high-level international participants in attendance (typically 500-1,000).
International/ Regional Conference
International/Regional Conferences are the ideal opportunity to discuss sector-defining strategic and political issues, from either an international or a regional perspective. Expand your contact book with the 200-500 high- level participants in attendance.
International/Regional Seminars are the ideal opportunity to discuss sector-defining operational and technical issues, from either an international or a regional perspective. Expand your contact book amongst the 80-150 high-level participants in attendance.
Study a particular topic in detail and exchange ideas with your peers at one of UITP’s many topic-based workshops. A smaller audience (40-80 participants) will allow for a more in-depth analysis of a particular topic as well as a more personal interaction with your fellow professionals from around the world.
Attend a UITP training session to expand your knowledge of the sector. Study wider mobility issues or specific technical or operational topics at one of a range of UITP-run training sessions. Limited to a maximum of 30 participants, these sessions allow for more personalised training and a more intimate learning approach.
