Objectives of the Symposium
To understand and evaluate different public transport modes and systems and their integration with each other
To discuss and review different aspects of a BRT system
To discuss ways and means of promoting Non-Motorized Transport (NMT)
To have a focused discussion on comprehensive public transport solutions for mission cities under Jb-NURM
To study and understand different stimulus packages announced by the government to promote public transport
This symposium hopes to address these issues in a holistic manner with a special focus on the BRT systems.
