Concept Risk Assessment Conducting a risk assessment is the logical first step in public transport security. In the context of a European funded project called COUNTERACT, led by UITP, a set of guidelines for conducting risk assessment was developed to meet the specific needs of public transport companies. Participants will learn how to conduct a Security Risk Assessment: in groups, a fictive public transport network is assessed under the guidance of experienced experts. Emergency Preparedness & Response If you can't avoid it, how can you handle it? Starting from the same fictive network, and following a predefined scenario, the participants will respond to a serious security incident in the form of a table-top exercise. In groups, and under the guidance of experienced experts, the scenario will unfold throughout the course of the session during which the groups must discuss and decide how to react. 3 reasons to attend
