POST-CONGRESS OPTIONAL TOURS

Optional Tour 1 – New Lantau Tour at Po Lin Monastery and Ngong Ping 360 Cable Car Ride (with vegetarian lunch)
Time: 09:00 – 16:00
Tour Price: HK$850 per person (minimum operation: 10 persons)
Discover a pristine beach, a traditional fishing village, lush valleys, soaring mountains and spiritual enlightenment on Hong Kong largest island. For the full day tour, visitors board a coach to the beautiful Cheung Sha beach and on to the unique Tai O fishing village, where fishermen homes are built on stilts. The coach then takes a winding road up the mountain to Ngong Ping Plateau where the Giant Buddha sits majestically close to the Po Lin Monastery. Ample time is allowed for a guided tour of the Po Lin Monastery and Giant Buddha Exhibition Hall. A short walk away is the Wisdom Path where an ancient prayer is inscribed on a series of wooden columns set in a figure of eight to signify infinity. A vegetarian meal is served in the Monastery followed by visits to the culturally themed Ngong Ping Village. The tour ends with a spectacular ride aboard the Skyrail cable car offering stunning views going down to Tung Chung.
Optional Tour 2 - Sea and Land Whole Day Tour of Hong Kong

Combining a morning Harbour cruise around the Victoria Harbour and an afternoon tour of Chuk Lam Sim Yuen and Tai Mo Shan Lookout.
Harbour Cruise – Start your day with a relaxing cruise (join-in regular cruise for 2 hours) around the famous Victoria Harbour. Enjoy the city’s beautiful skyline and witness the firing of the legendary Noon Day Gun, the city’s century old tradition.
Pekinese Lunch will be served at local restaurant.
After lunch, explore a lush countryside you never knew existed and learn about the stories of a ancient monastery and untouched fields are woven into the rolling hills of the New Territories. Hear the irds chirp, enjoy the breezes. Visit to Chuk Lam Sim Yuen, nestled in the tranquil foothills above Tsuen Wan, the impressive Buddhist sanctuary was founded in 1927and houses the three largest indoor Buddha’s statues in Hong Kong. Last stop will be Tai Mo Shan Lookout, known as Hong Kong’s highest mountain peak, this lookout offers you a stunning panorama over the green valley, Shek Kong Airforce base and the serene countryside of the New Territories. Over the mountain also lies a lush valley of orchards and vegetable farms.
Optional Tour 3 - Macao Excursion

Macao is a place where the East meets West. In this tour, you will be shown the charm of the Chinese and Portuguese heritages embraced in arrays of modernized architecture.
An hour's hydrofoil ferry ride brings you to the previous Portuguese enclave – Macao, which was reverted to Chinese sovereignty in December 1999. Inscribed "The Historic Centre of Macao" on UNESCO's World Heritage List, Macao is rich in culture and heritage. You will enjoy visiting the 16th-century Kun Iam Temple and travelling up Penha Hill and Chapel for a magnificent view of the city.
The tour will also lead you to the Ruins of St. Paul's Cathedral, Monte Fort, Senado Square and Avenida da Praia Residences. Portuguese lunch will be served at local restaurant. Visit one of the famous Casino before returning to Hong Kong.

ACCOMPANYING PERSONS TOUR 1 - Orientation Tour of Hong Kong

Hong Kong Island is bursting at the seams with a mixture of ancient eastern mystique, high-tech commerce and cosmopolitan lifestyles. This tour reveals all of these facets and more. The first stop is Victoria Peak which, rising 544m above sea-level, offers a spectacular view of hustle and bustle of this extraordinary city. The best way to reach the famous pinnacle of Hong Kong is a ride on the Peak Tram. Built in 1888 and operated for over 100 years.
From Victoria Peak, we proceed downhill to Aberdeen where traditional Chinese values and ancient customs are easily observed. Once a small fishing village, Aberdeen is now a thriving town best known for the many junks, houseboats and floating restaurants. Take a sampan ride for close-up views of the fishing fleet and Aberdeen’s famous multi-decked floating restaurants.

Western Set Lunch will be at Verandah Restaurant, Repulse Bay
Last stop will be at Stanley Market, one of the Hong Kong’s best-loved attractions. In its traffic-free lanes, cottages and shop houses have been converted into well-stocked boutiques selling a wide range of relatively inexpensive clothing, including factory overruns of locally made designer items. Porcelain, rattan ware and other hand-crafted items are also readily available at competitive prices.
ACCOMPANYING PERSONS TOUR 2 - Morning Tai Chi and New Territories Heritage Tour
Time: 09:00 – 16:00
Tour Price: HK$850 per person (minimum operation: 10 persons)

This tour starts with Morning Chinese Exercise at Inspiration Lake (near Hong Kong Disneyland).
Tai Chi or “shadow boxing", is a graceful exercise that combines thought and action and is developed from an ancient Chinese martial art. A master will teach the anciently derived art, allowing delegates and guests to capture the spirit of this art form. After 45 minutes exercise, depart for the New Territories.
A tour around the New Territories shows you the rural aspect of Hong Kong. Step back into the mid-1800s as you enter Tai Fu Tai Mansion, the opulent stately home built in 1865, and Fan Tin Village. The nearby Lo Wai walled village and Tang Chung Ling Ancestral Hall offer fascinating sights of village life in the New Territories. Another beautiful tradition stems from the enchanting Lam Tsuen Wishing Trees. Local villagers burn joss sticks and incense papers hoping their wishes will come true.
Chinese Dim Sum lunch will be served at local restaurant.
ACCOMPANYING PERSONS TOUR 3 – Shopping Tour at Stanley Market and famous Shopping Mall in Hong Kong

Hong Kong is a truly "Shoppers' Paradise". There are many shopping areas throughout Hong Kong Island, Kowloon and the New Territories featuring stylish shopping malls, department stores as well as bustling open-air. The shopping excursion to Stanley Market will take you to the southeastern part of Hong Kong Island in the east of Repulse Bay. The town of Stanley is home to the Stanley Market.
Stanley's large open-air market has become well known for its bargains on clothes, particularly silk garments and traditional Chinese dress, as well as toys, ornaments, souvenirs, and Chinese arts and crafts. It is a popular destination for both tourists and locals.
After Stanley Market, you will visit the famous shopping mall “Times Square” in Causeway Bay and last stop will be made at “Harbour City” in Tsimshatsui.
