China will hold its first World Expo in Shanghai, from 1st May to 31st October 2010 (www.expo2010.cn), with the theme ‘Better City, Better Life’.
The International Association of Public Transport (UITP) will participate in Expo 2010 Shanghai CHINA with a Pavilion.

As the global advocate for public transport and sustainable mobility, and the promoter of innovations in the field of public transport, UITP aims to promote the benefits of public transport to worldwide visitors.

Today’s efforts will be rewarded tomorrow! To help promote a lifestyle using public transport that is beneficial to mankind, UITP invites youth of the world to submit their visions, creativity and thoughts, to care for the better development of our planet through the use of public transport!

The ‘Solutions for Our Future’ Award will be held in conjunction with UITP’s participation in 2010 Shanghai Expo.
