On 18 April 2018 in Warsaw, Centre for the EU Transport Projects – CUPT with the support of UITP as the institutional partner is organising an international conference on electromobility – Be Smart, Be Electric: Zero-Emission Transport: Evolution or Revolution? – which is conceived as the key national event for exchanging experiences, knowledge and best practices examples on electromobility developments, including technological, environmental and financing aspects.
Given that the conference refers to the objectives of the European Union Strategy – Europe 2020, especially to Priority Development of low-carbon public transport in cities (VI Axis of the Infrastructure and Environmental Operational Programme), we would be delighted to invite all Polish and central eastern European electromobility stakeholders to join us for this unique event. Poland has just passed the first ever Electromobility Law, also a high number of municipalities have signed up to the national electromobility development programme, planning to deploy up to 1000 e-buses by 2020. Hence, this event is not only timely, but also needed in the current electromobility interest uptake.
Among the speakers are the representatives of the Ministry of Investment and Development, Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Technology, Ministry of Energy, UITP as well as public transport and energy sector companies from Poland and Central Eastern Europe. The participants’ list includes mayors of the main Polish cities, the representatives of Integrated Territorial Investments, scientists, the representative of National Centre for Research and Development, National Centre for Nuclear Research and the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development, among others.
Attendance to this event is free-of-charge, but registration is compulsory.
To register, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please note that as seats for participants outside Poland are limited to 30 places, registration will be confirmed by CUPT on a first-come first-served basis.
The conference will take place between 10.00-16.00 hrs.
The event will be held at Hotel Radisson Blu Sobieski, pl. Zawiszy 1, Warsaw, Poland.
