About: 

Objectives of the course

  • Broaden your knowledge on institutional and regulatory framework of taxi transport
  • Gain a deeper understanding of the contractual relationships between authorities and operators
  • Discuss and apply during workshops the lessons learnt from these models of organisation : success factors and limitations
  • Have a better understanding of the implementation of the different taxi operation business models
  • Provide participants with fundamental knowledge on the importance of a well regulated taxi transport system, and introducing them to key contracting models
     
  • Present basic definitions and concepts related to the organisation and regulation of taxi transport services, and illustrate them with international examples of best practices
