About:

This module begins by presenting the risk management framework defined by ISO31000, and proceeds to identify risks faced by public transport operators, also detailing scenarios. It describes how the risk analysis formula is used to calculate the risk, after covering each of its components: likelihood of attack, vulnerability and consequences of attack, and shows how to present the risks in a risk matrix. The module then discusses how the risks are managed based on the risk assessment results through risk reduction and risk mitigation. It also includes a lesson summary and a ‘test your knowledge’ section.

The module is intended for a wide targeted audience comprising security staff, security managers, risk managers and safety managers.

Lesson duration: 30-40 minutes.
