Marketing and Communications Workshop 2007

UITP Australia/New Zealand held its annual Marketing and Communications Workshop in Melbourne, Australia, on 23-24 October. The event focused on the major initiatives for expanding the market for public transport in the region and the role of the Association and its members in moving those initiatives forward.

Each of the sessions provided a perspective on the future for marketing communications professionals involved in mass transit. The workshop gave some 30 participants the opportunity to suggest the agenda for change and how UITP and its members can sell the message of public transport.
