| Public transport is an exceptional business, critical to our cities and economies. For over 120 years, the International Association of Public Transport (UITP) has existed to develop public transport knowledge and services. Within a portfolio of services for public transport professionals and politicians, the Mobility & City Transport Exhibition is a key tool in achieving a better mobility for people worldwide and driving solutions for public transport.
In Vienna, the stage is set to have an exceptional show - aligned to many of the objectives and interests of the public transport community. Our local hosts are rightly held in exceptionally high regard for their public transport provision; and the need to support and supply neighbouring central and eastern European countries with expertise, political awareness, modern technology and rolling stock has been the focus of many UITP activities. Bringing these together in event of global appeal and attendance is an exciting prospect, and we look forward to you joining us.
