  Guidelines for media representatives
1. The International Association of Public Transport (UITP) provides complimentary access to the 58th UITP World Congress and Mobility & City Transport Exhibition to all media, including print, broadcast and online media. Media representatives who are welcome to attend include reporters, writers, photographers and videographers.
2. Pre-registration: The media registration form can be filled here. In addition, valid press credentials (copy of press card/letter of assignment from media outlet) must be submitted to UITP's Communications Department (Sarah D'Angelo: Fax: +32 2 660 10 72; sarah.dangelo@uitp.org), in order to be registered.
3. Media are requested to pre-register no later than Friday 22 May 2009. On-site registrations are permitted but are not encouraged. Media representatives registering on-site must also submit valid press credentials (copy of press card//letter of assignment from media outlet). Media representatives registering on-site will not receive Congress wallets.
4. For registered media, UITP provides a staffed Press Centre featuring traditional amenities, including phone/fax/modem lines, computers with internet access, beverages, and other related services.
5. Kindly limit media registration to one individual per outlet. Special requests for extra individuals for an outlet can be addressed to the Communications Department.
6. All Congress presentations are embargoed until immediately after their delivery.
7. Media may not distribute promotional materials of any kind during the 58th UITP World Congress and Mobility & City Transport Exhibition, unless they have a stand at the exhibition or another previously-agreed arrangement with UITP.
8. Media delegates cannot attend UITP's General Assembly meeting (reserved for UITP members only).
9. Media delegates may not bring accompanying persons to the Congress.
10. Media delegates are entitled to:

- Access to all Congress sessions
- Access to the Exhibition
- When indicated: lunches and coffee breaks
- When indicated: Networking events (social programme)
