In less than a year, UITP Asia-Pacific Division Meeting (formerly known as Asia-Pacific Assembly) will be held in Canberra, Australia on 12 November 2019, generously hosted by Transport Canberra, Australian Capital Territory (ACT) Government.  

The theme is "Future Transport: Planning and Integrating New, Autonomous and E-Mobility"

Followed by a conference on 13 November, stay tuned for detailed information regarding the event on our website in the coming weeks. It is a tremendous opportunity to learn about the latest transport development and initiatives in Australia, and to create business relationships through various networking activities.

Registration desk

The registration and information desk will be open for the duration of the UITP Asia-Pacific Division Meeting and Conference and will serve as your main point of contact for all enquiries throughout your stay.

This registration desk will be located onsite at the meeting and conference venue.

Dietary/Special requirements

Every effort will be made to ensure people with special dietary requirements are catered for. Should you require any specific assistance, catering or arrangements to be made on your behalf, please include details on your registration form under the section ‘Dietary / Special Requirements’ to enable us to make your attendance a pleasant and comfortable experience.


The Conference Organisers, including the Conference Secretariat, will not accept liability for the damages of any nature sustained by participants or their accompanying persons for loss or damage to their personal property as a result of attendance at the Conference and exhibition or related events.


The dress for attendees at the Meeting and Conference is Business attire.
The dress for the Welcome Reception is Smart Casual.
The dress for the Gala Dinner is Business/Cocktail.


Registration fees do not include personal travel insurance of any kind. It is strongly recommended that a travel insurance policy be taken out to cover loss, cancellation, medical cover etc when registering for this event and booking travel. The Conference Committee and Conference Secretariat do not take responsibility for any delegate failing to insure.

Name badges

Your official UITP Asia-Pacific Division Meeting and Conference name badge will be provided to registered delegate and non-delegate member attendees and must be worn at all times. It is your entry to any session and ancillary events within the event venue and at social functions. Security staff will be asked to refuse entry to anyone not wearing their designated name badge.


Information necessary for your attendance at the Division Meeting and Conference will be gathered, stored and disseminated in accordance with the National Privacy Legislation of Australia. A participant list with name, organisation and state will be provided to all delegates and exhibitors at this event. You can indicate on your registration form if you do not wish to have your details included on the participant list.

All communication with registered delegates will be via email. All registrants will be sent a confirmation letter and tax invoice to your nominated email address within five working days of submitting a registration form. If you do not receive the email, please check your spam folder prior to contacting the Conference Secretariat as it might have been viewed as spam mail by your spam filter.
