The UITP Academy is organising a series of webinars in the framework of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) outbreak. They aim to assist public transport companies in tailoring their business continuity plans.

Enhancing the cleaning of vehicles, stations and other spaces used by passengers and staff was one of the first measures that public transport organisations took against covid-19. As the threat from the virus remains, networks are maintaining enhanced cleaning regimes, in many cases using products which they did not use before Covid-19. In this webinar, organisations from different continents responsible for multimodal networks comprising both surface and underground transport will share the techniques used and challenges they have faced.

This 90 minutes webinar in English is free of charge and only available to UITP members. Non UITP-members will be able to access the recording of the webinar afterwards in MyLibrary.

Who are our speakers?

  • Simon Milburn, Head of Signals at London Underground, and leading on “sanitisation”, Transport for London, UK
