UITP Asia Pacific is organizing a Bus Planning and Execution Training in China together with Shenzhen Bus Group Co., Ltd. (SBG), the largest joint venture bus enterprise in China with a long standing history and a profound brand in Shenzhen.  The training will take place during 22-24 April 2019 in Shenzhen and aims to provide participants a general overview of the complex and transformative process, and advice on planning, technical, design, legal and funding issues that will be encountered by any scheme promoter. It also cumulates expertise of bus operators across all continents to provide a practical manual for those authorities considering bus system planning and operation; and to equip middle level staff of bus operators the general knowledge of project set-up and management in planned scheme of operations.

The training and all training materials will be provided in English.

**Registration fees are transferable to another employee of the same organization but it is non-refundable.

SZBG has more than 28,000 employees, operates 346 bus routes, and owns a fleet of 12,813 vehicles (including 6,053 fully electric buses and 4,681 fully electric taxis). There are 104 charging stations and 1,704 charging piles, and the depot area is 940,000 square meters. The Group has achieved full electrification at the end of 2018.
