As cities advance into smarter, more interconnected environments, Urban Air Mobility (UAM) including air taxis, marks a significant breakthrough in urban transportation.

The event will bring together public sector leaders, urban mobility experts, air mobility pioneers, infrastructure stakeholders, and researchers to explore UAM can be effectively integrated with public transport systems.

Why Attend?

UAM is moving from vision to reality, and this workshop is about shaping how it will fit into the wider transport ecosystem.

Rather than only seeing air taxis and drones as isolated innovations, the discussion will focus on how they can work seamlessly alongside public transport and active mobility systems to deliver real value for cities and their people.

This is where strategic thinking meets practical integration; the workshop will also explore how UAM can:

  • Strengthen first and last mile connections without duplicating costly infrastructure
  • Enhance network efficiency through coordinated planning between ground and air systems
  • Build scalable models that align with the realities of city planning, regulation, and passenger behaviour

Who Should Attend?

  • Public transport authorities
  • Civil aviation and regulatory authorities
  • Urban mobility policymakers
  • eVTOL and drone OEMs
  • Infrastructure developers and operators
  • Technology solution providers
  • Researchers and academic experts

Programme

Registration & Welcome Coffee

08:30 09:00
  • 9:00 – 9:15 Opening Session
  • 9:15 – 9:30 Keynote Speaker
Session 1: Presentation Based

This session explores how UAM can serve as an effective tool for addressing first and last mile (FLM) challenges and for achieving seamless multimodal integration within urban transport networks. Presentations will highlight international case studies and technical strategies demonstrating how UAM can connect passengers to high-capacity transport corridors such as metro, rail, or bus rapid transit.

Key themes include:

  • Leveraging UAM to Bridge FLM Gaps: Identifying corridors where aerial services reduce total travel time and improve access in underserved zones.
  • Designing Intermodal Mobility Hubs: Strategies for co-locating vertiports with metro stations, park-and-ride facilities, and multimodal transport nodes.
  • Reimagining Parking Infrastructure: Repurposing rooftops and vertical parking assets to serve as UAM landing or logistics nodes, supporting new mobility patterns.

Coffee break & Networking

10:30 11:00
Session 2: Panel Session

This session brings together policymakers, regulators, urban planners, and public transport authorities to discuss the governance frameworks and institutional mechanisms needed to align UAM deployment with public transport planning. Topics include national and municipal coordination, regulatory sandboxing, spatial planning integration, safety oversight, and environmental compliance.

The panel will consider:

  • How UAM can be embedded in long-term urban mobility plans
  • Regulatory harmonization between civil aviation and urban transport authorities
  • Zoning and land-use implications for vertiport development
  • Stakeholder coordination models for inter-agency alignment
Session 3: Panel Session

This session convenes leading eVTOL manufacturers and technology developers to share their perspectives on the future evolution of Urban Air Mobility. By bringing together key OEMs, the discussion will explore how eVTOL technologies are evolving across performance, scalability, certification readiness, and systems integration, and what this means for the future of cities and public transport systems.

The session will also focus on energy consumption and management, exploring how propulsion systems (e.g., battery-electric and hydrogen-based), charging infrastructure, and ground energy interfaces affect vehicle range, operational efficiency, turnaround time, and sustainability.
