Since IT-TRANS began in 2008, public transport has changed a great deal with more than a decade’s worth of transformation and innovation revolutionising the sector.
Urban mobility has undergone massive developments during this time and as the major event dedicated to I.T. and digitalisation within public transport, IT-TRANS has been at the beating heart of these exciting changes.
Our 2020 edition took place in the virtual world as we all continued to adapt to the ongoing pandemic. For the eight edition, coming to you from 8-10 March 2022, we will be hosting a hybrid format, with many exciting and innovative in-person activities.
You can now book your ticket as we’re excited to announce the official 2022 registration is open!
What awaits you in Karlsruhe? How has the public transport sector been transformed since we last met?
Every new development within I.T. brings us closer to the people who benefit from these changes: every trip taken, every app used, every swipe of the travel card moves our sector forward.
From on-demand mobility and Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS) to autonomous vehicles and big data, technology moves fast and at our world-leading conference and exhibition, the public transport sector gathers to exchange, discuss and invent IT solutions and innovations that matter to the future of mobility.
We expect more than 270 exhibitors from 35 countries to showcase their latest innovations, alongside our impressive conference programme with more than 180 speakers in over 45 sessions.
Jointly hosted by UITP and Messe Karlsruhe, we are planning for a hybrid edition in 2022, and will be able to connect with you more than the circumstances in 2020 allowed.
Whether you’re joining digitally or physically, our official themes will offer you the chance to be part of the discussion led by global experts.
The key themes of IT-TRANS 2022 are:
Our Conference and Exhibition host the sector’s biggest players with recognisable names and faces coming from all over the world to showcase and debate the digital future of public transport.
