The recent 'Moving Together' conference on the subject of Europe's future mobility landscape offered a platform for cities to air their expectations of operators and EU policy-makers. It was also an opportunity for participants - including important industry stakeholders as well as European Commission figures - to discuss financing mechanisms for cities and regions whose responsibilities are being increasingly devolved without adequate review of governance and funding frameworks.

With a length of 11.2 km, the T7 is Paris’ latest tramline. Opened in December 2013, it serves 18 stations between the towns of Villejuif and Athis-Mons, as well as Orly airport in under 30 minutes. An extension of the line is planned during a second phase, which will allow it to reach Juvisy-sur-Orge.
