SMEC Project’s an educational program aimed at raising awareness of sustainable transportation and the environment. It offers interactive simulations to help students learn about transportation, energy, economy, and ecology, encouraging informed choices.

About this Project

The SMEC Education Center serves as a mobile learning platform, using interactive and scientific methods to engage participants through its simulation systems in schools and public spaces.

Its mission is to encourage young people in Istanbul to adopt more conscious, responsible, and sustainable behaviors in urban mobility.

The project focuses on promoting eco-friendly transportation by minimising carbon emissions, enhancing public transit efficiency, and raising awareness of smart transportation systems.

By fostering education and awareness, SMEC aims to instill sustainable mobility habits in young people, contributing to a greener and more efficient urban transportation network.

Key Highlights

The SMEC Project focuses on developing a sustainable transportation model by minimizing the environmental impact of public transit vehicles.

It incorporates innovative strategies, particularly in energy efficiency and environmental awareness.

By integrating Energy Efficiency, Electric, and Hybrid Buses, the project highlights the importance of reducing fuel consumption and carbon emissions.

It seeks to make public transportation more appealing, thereby decreasing reliance on private vehicles.

With low-emission solutions, it fosters environmental consciousness and strengthens public trust in transit.

As a digitally equipped mobile bus, it can operate anywhere, bringing sustainability education and activities directly to communities.
