What’s in this Publication?

Public transport is an important but still underrepresented component of National Adaption Plans (NAPs), which should establish long-term vision for climate-resilient public transport.

Building resilience in public transport and infrastructure is crucial for adapting to the impacts of climate change, especially in vulnerable urban areas, and also a key component to advance the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 11 on resilient, sustainable cities and communities.

This publication looks into the state of public transport in these NAPs, trends and gaps that need to be addressed.
