UITP India is back with its flagship biennial event on bus, the UITP India Bus Conference 2026.

Organised by UITP India and hosted by Delhi Integrated Multi-Modal Transit System Ltd. (DIMTS), this year’s theme is Future-Ready Buses for Connected Cities.

This edition of the conference will also have a Practitioners’ Workshop on the day before the Conference.

The Practitioners’ Workshop on 6 August (participation by invitation only) and the Conference on 7 August (open to all) aims to bring together policymakers, State Transport Undertakings (STUs), Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs) managing public bus operations, industry leaders, and transit stakeholders for discussing challenges and knowledge sharing on best practices, innovations, and strategies, aligned with India’s mission to advance smart, connected, and future-ready bus networks.
