At UITP we like to walk the talk and practice what we preach. We’re committed to keep on changing our cities for the better.
And by continuously promoting public transport at every turn, we know the power of great messaging — we also know the power of a comfortable, efficient bus journey!
And thanks to our member and partner Keolis Belgium, this journey is possible from Brussels to Hamburg…
We’re delighted to announce that more than 50 of our HQ team members will be making the journey by coach, for the 2025 UITP Summit!
UITP is dedicated to advancing the message of sustainable urban mobility, and so is Keolis.
Their commitment to public transport, across modes and countries, is what helps us to make achievements of note when it comes to sustainability.
Keolis is proud to be part of UITP’s sustainable journey to Hamburg, highlighting our commitment to building a more responsible and inclusive mobility ecosystem. As an operator of metros, trams and trains — alongside bike-sharing systems, on-demand transport and more — we’re actively shaping the future of urban mobility. By working closely with Mobility Organising Authorities and trusted partners like UITP, we co-create smart, safe and sustainable transport solutions that reduce reliance on private cars and air travel — making our cities and regions better places to live and work.
That Will Make a Difference
We’re here to make contributions to this through the ways in which we travel, and by showing how easy it can be to take a trip that is sustainable and comfortable.
We can drastically reduce our collective emissions, and collectively increase our own credibility.
The environmental impact of a trip like this is not to be underestimated, but this is not a trip just for a moment in the spotlight…taking shared, sustainable transport is easy. It’s convenient. And it’s a shared experience.
It may not be the right choice for everyone making their way to our Global Summit (with UITP colleagues across the globe)… but for us here in Brussels, it’s our shared mode of choice. And we commit to #StayontheGround whenever we can.
