Putting Sustainable Wellbeing and Mobility on the Right Track as the MENA Transport Congress and Exhibition Shines
A Three-Day Event With Record Numbers
In a constantly-developing world where innovation is key, Dubai is a city that shines…
Moving into the future, where redefinition must align with sustainable wellbeing, how will the public transport sector and our international cities develop?
As the largest event of its kind in the region dedicated to urban mobility, the MENA Transport Congress and Exhibition (28Feb-1Mar, Dubai), brought together the biggest names with the brightest ideas to determine that future.
Jointly organised and hosted by UITP and the Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), MTCE 2024 focused on ‘sustainable mobility and wellbeing’ and reflected public transport’s unwavering dedication to creating a greener future for urban mobility through cutting-edge technologies, effective policies, and industry best practices.
Led by UITP President Renée Amilcar, our delegation worked to advance the agenda of our members, with an international Exhibition, global Congress programme and networking opportunities across all three days.
The World Trade Centre Dubai was full of energy as delegates, exhibitors and attendees worked together to build a brighter future for public transport.

A Focus on the Future Together in Dubai
The 2024 edition also saw many other special moments in Dubai, such as the importance of the MENA region within the UITP landscape, with a special ceremony held to welcome new local members to our association as we work towards the UITP Summit in Dubai.
A huge thank you to our event sponsors and partners for their brilliant support and thanks to everyone who exhibited, presented, attended and contributed to making the 2024 edition a great success!
