Calling all public transport professionals and photographers in India! As a part of World Public Transport Day on 17 April, UITP in India is launching a competition to capture India in Motion.
What’s the competition?
TransitLens is a photography competition celebrating the stories, people, and landscapes of public transport in India as a part of World Public Transport Day celebrations.
From buses and metros to suburban trains, ferries, and shared mobility, the competition invites photographers to document the everyday journeys that move the nation.
Why is UITP India launching a competition?
To celebrate World Public Transport Day is on 17 April. 100+ countries across all inhabited continents have already committed to be part of this global celebration of public transport.
World Public Transport Day is a chance to shine a light on what public transport makes possible and to celebrate the journeys – shared and solo – that bring us together.
