Framework for Coordination of Automated Mobility in Europe

FAME developed and validated common methodologies and tools to facilitate the sharing of best practices and lessons learned to support the collaboration within the community of CCAM stakeholders across the complex cross-sectorial value chain needed for the organisation and evaluation of large-scale demonstration and future scale-up to the impacts of complete CCAM solutions.

Building on the legacy of previous EU-funded projects, including the VRACARTRE and ARCADE, FAME supported the European Commission and the CCAM Partnership by providing a long-term coordination framework for research, innovation, large-scale testing and evaluation, while helping identify gaps and future needs for CCAM research and innovation.

Such a cooperation across stakeholders and coordination has been required by the European Commission, the Member States and Industry since the Declaration of Amsterdam and the High Level Meetings on CAD.
