Implementing a program to combat sexual harassment on buses is essential to ensuring the safety and well-being of women. These initiatives aim to raise awareness about the seriousness of this crime, encourage reporting and promote a safer environment

About this Project

Program aimed at combating sexual harassment in the bus transportation system, which includes more than a thousand bus lines connecting municipalities across all regions of the state.

Many campaigns have been launched to condemn this type of behavior, but they often use calls to action that are not truly actionable: Enough, Stop, Say no.

These messages do not provide people with real alternatives to intervene or seek support in such cases.
This is what sets our campaign apart.

We provide bus users with resources to help combat and truly prevent this type of action by accessing the Disque Denúncia—a call center specialized in assisting individuals who experience or witness criminal.

Key Highlights

The idea is to create a quick access route using a QR Code that directs to the reporting channel. Anyone who experiences or witnesses a case of sexual harassment on buses can scan the QR code available on stickers placed inside the buses.

When pointing the camera on their cell phone, it is forwarded to the Disque Denúncia WhatsApp. Through this, the person can anonymously, in addition to the report, share images and videos that can help the work of the competent agencies.

Disque denuncia forwards the report and images to the police forces that can try to combat the crime in real time.
