UITP Committees & Working Groups
UITP Divisions, Committees, and Working Groups bring together public transport professionals to advance everything urban mobility – from sustainable development to automated metros and bus tender documents.
On becoming a member of UITP, you will be automatically assigned to a regional division and a stakeholder division, based on your organisation’s activity.

I am a UITP Member, how can I get involved?
To join a committee, your organisation must be an Advantage or Premium member.
Seats are limited and Premium members have priority.

I am not yet a UITP Member, how can I get involved?
To join a UITP Committee or Working Group, you must be a UITP member.
If you’re interested in joining UITP to participate in our Committees, contact us or set a meeting with our membership team!
Who can join a Committee or Working Group?
For all Committees, selection is based on diversity criteria to ensure that the group is representative, as well as the professional profile of the candidate.
For modal Committees, such as Bus, members can only join if their organisation operates that mode.
Similarly, stakeholder Committees like Public Transport and Mobility Authorities are only open to authorities.
How often do Committees & Working Groups meet?
Committee & Working Group members meet for dedicated meetings at least twice a year, with one online meeting and one in-person meeting.
And of course, all members get a chance to come together at the UITP Summit every year!
How many Committees & Working Groups can you join?
All UITP members are a part of at least two Committees & Working Groups; their regional Division and their specific field of activity.
