Our Members Include
MENA Regional Office
UITP is active across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Region, with members and activities in the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Morocco and more.
Since the mid‑1990s, UITP has worked alongside stakeholders across the region, and with the opening of our MENA Regional Office in Dubai in 2005, we’ve been able to support you even more directly.

Knowledge & Data Highlights
MENA Centre for Transport Excellence
MENA Centre for Transport Excellence (CTE) was launched in 2011 as a joint effort between Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) and UITP to unify regional efforts to build sustainable transport systems in MENA countries.
CTE Aims:
- Build and share knowledge to advance effective transport policies, strategies, and solutions in MENA.
- Develop innovative tools and research to support better mobility outcomes.
- Exchange experiences within MENA and with other regions to adopt best practices.
- Empower professionals through capacity‑building, training, and education.
- Foster networking to strengthen sustainable transport across the region.
