Your Voice. Our Future. Why the 2026 UITP Global Survey Matters
If you have received an invitation to the 2026 UITP Global Survey – Your Opinions Matter, we encourage you to take part. Open until 24 July, the survey takes 10–15 minutes to complete and provides one of the most direct ways for members and stakeholders to influence UITP’s future priorities, services and strategic direction.
Now in its seventh edition, the biennial Global Survey has helped UITP better understand the priorities of its global community since 2013, informing new initiatives and ensuring the association remains responsive to the evolving needs of the public transport sector.
Building on your feedback
While many of the core questions from recent editions remain (in order to measure progress over time) this year’s survey introduces new topics reflecting the sector’s additional priorities. Participants are invited to share their views on UITP’s advocacy activities, future member services, the development of a new user portal, the ‘NextGen’ initiative for young professionals, plus ways to improve access to knowledge and digital resources.
Importantly, previous surveys have already driven meaningful improvements. Feedback gathered in 2024 informed the development of our new website and the expansion of multilingual content, making UITP’s resources more accessible to members around the world.

Independent, confidential and secure
The survey is conducted independently by insidery GmbH, a Munich-based market research consultancy and UITP’s trusted survey partner for the third consecutive edition. Working with an independent research institute ensures responses remain anonymous while providing objective analysis to support UITP’s strategic planning.

Participants may also choose to enter an optional prize draw to win one of three €500 travel vouchers. Entry is voluntary and separate from the survey itself.
