Bus Tender Structure: 2023 Update

This is the 4th update of the UITP Tender Structure Document, intended to streamline and ease the tender process of vehicles for bus operators, authorities, and manufacturers.

This update aims to support the increasing concern and will of the bus industry in addressing the sustainability, circularity, and social responsibility component of their fleet from a cradle-to-grave perspective.

Given the very early stage of considering environmental issues in the wider sense in the public transport sector, this document aims to set the foundations for further work and development on the topic, inspired by the challenges and successes of the frontrunners in the field.
