The hype around AI can often get in the way of finding practical, effective solutions. This is inevitable, given that AI technologies are advancing so fast and we’re still exploring how to use them.
Today, public transport operators and networks around the world are using the power of AI tools in daily operations to make journeys safer, more efficient, and more comfortable for passengers. Many others are still trying to understand how these tools can contribute to an efficient service while reducing costs.
By bringing together our global members, including a dedicated AI in Public Transport Forum, UITP facilitates exchanges and knowledge sharing to identify the best ways to use AI – and ultimately advance sustainable mobility.
