An integrated service designed to ensure mobility rights for transportation-vulnerable individuals and enhance the convenience of public transportation use.

About this Project

To ensure mobility rights for transportation-vulnerable individuals, SMG developed the Seoul Helping Map, a tailored mobility support service.

Existing transit systems lack accessibility features for wheelchair users, pregnant women, and the elderly. This project integrates customized routes, pedestrian barrier info, transportation reservations, and accessibility details into one platform.

A key feature is the low-floor bus reservation service, notifying drivers to assist users. It also enables booking of Call Taxis for the Disabled and Seoul Parents Taxi.

Enhanced UI/UX design ensures accessibility for visually impaired users and those with color vision deficiencies, creating a truly inclusive transit experience.

Key Highlights

The Seoul Helping Map is a world-class integrated transportation system for transportation-vulnerable individuals, consolidating scattered mobility services into one platform.

A key innovation is the real-time low-floor bus reservation system, allowing wheelchair and stroller users to book buses in advance, notifying drivers for a smoother boarding process. Based on user feedback, the notification range expanded from 30 to 50 meters, improving accessibility.

The system also integrates Call Taxis for the Disabled and provides navigation for accessible restrooms, ramps, and wheelchair-friendly stores. Screen reader support further enhances usability, making it a global smart mobility benchmark.
