About:

The European Union‘s new programming period has just started, with over €181bn transferred directly to the Central and Eastern Europe (CEEC) region. Up to 8% of this amount is planned to be invested in integrated public transport projects. This brand new economic context forces operators, companies and authorities to think differently in order to make smart and long-term mobility decisions.

Gathering top light rail, mobility and financial experts, this highly-anticipated international workshop will be covering one of the hottest public transport topics in the region: how to effectively and sustainably invest available funds in the modernization and development of light rail and tram systems. The event will be organized in the framework of the International Light Rail Committee on March 27-28 in Oradea.

Five good reasons to attend...

1. Discover successful case studies, funding methodologies and management practices in the field of financing and modernization of light rail.
2. Learn how to optimize financing and investment processes.
3. Meet and network with leading stakeholders and experts from the public transport and financing sector in Central and Eastern Europe.
4. Get a unique chance to understand the light rail dynamics and outlooks in Central and Eastern Europe.
5. Take active part in discussions, knowledge exchange and interaction with international peers.
