About: 

This module focuses on the incident response plan, its objectives and key requirements. It details the incident response sequence, roles and responsibilities of the external responders and the interfaces with them. It covers incident command and control, covering the strategic, tactical and operational levels, and also the crisis management group. It also describes the variables affecting the incident response plan’s implementation, the required humanitarian (welfare) support and logistical support. A variety of incident response strategies are presented in detail. The module concludes with a ‘test your knowledge’ section and a lesson summary.

The module is intended for a targeted audience comprising security managers, operators in control rooms, emergency response teams and senior management.

Lesson duration: 40-50 minutes.
