In recent years there has been significant attention on the role that Mobility as a Service (MaaS) might play in transport systems. The next UITPANZ Master Class will cut through the hype to focus on operational lessons from best practice around the world. WIth the theme of 'Exploring Implementation of Global Best Practice', the Master Class will draw on global lessons to help advance best practice in MaaS deployment in the ANZ region.
The Master Class will feature keynote speaker Colin Lim, CEO of mobilityX, a SMRT-backed start-up in Singapore currently undertaking MaaS Trials. Colin will deliver two presentations, including a keynote on MaaS in Singapore, followed by a detailed presentation on his lessons from trial deployments, and how to successfully create industry partnerships and engage stakeholders.
Neil Scales, Director-General of the Department of Transport and Main Roads will use his keynote address to share his vision for MaaS in Queensland and articulate how government can best support and inform transport innovations.
To add to the global perspective, we will also have a videoconference keynote from Kaj Pyyhitä, Co-Founder and Chief Customer Experience Officer at MaaS Global (Whim App). Kaj Pyyhitä will be sharing learnings from the Maas Global experience from the Helsinki region, Kaj will provide suggestions for managing the technical, operational and stakeholder aspects of moving into full deployment.
More speakers will be announced shortly, including leading technical experts from across ANZ will be sharing their experiences and lessons in the MaaS space.
