About: 

UITP will organise a training programme about Ticketing and Fare Management in Istanbul, Turkey from 9 to 11 January 2019. UITP’s international knowledge with local experience in delivering quality and sustainable public transport services, ths three-day course will provide opportunities for participants to learn from international expert trainers and get hands on experience during learning visit in Istanbul.

Objectives

Understand, analyse and discuss the ticketing systems and fare management trends 
Get acquainted with related concepts & definitions of ticketing systems
Get a worldwide overview of practices & models for fare management  
Deepen your knowledge on ticketing and fare management
Learn about the traditional method with global new trends

Getting inspired by trainers, understanding the main aspects of ticketing and fare management systems
Participation to interactive plenary sessions with introduction by course leaders, presentation by the trainer and open discussion with participants
Challenge participants’ practical knowledge on ticketing and fare management 
Addressing the topic from an international perspective, enriched by different cultural approaches and points of views
Participation to practical exercises and case studies 
Benefiting from a unique exchange of knowledge and experience between professionals
Additional opportunity to exchange experiences and discuss key topics during workshops in smaller groups

A good level of English is a compulsory requirement to attend the training.
