The mobility needs of young people are diverse and require a range of policy options to be considered as part of a comprehensive approach to transport and mobility planning. This seminar explores the topic of meeting mobility needs of young people in Australia and New Zealand from a range of perspectives.

Our keynote speaker for the seminar is Neil Scales, Director-General, Department of Transport and Main Roads, Queensland.
Through the combination of our keynote speaker and a facilitated panel, the seminar provides an entertaining, informative and interactive format and approach. The seminar will conclude with a networking drinks session.
The seminar will:
• provide a forum for young transport professionals to meet and exchange ideas
• allow participants to establish networks and contacts with other young transport professionals from government, operators and industry.
A study tour of key public transport facilities and infrastructure in Brisbane, including the Busway System, is open for seminar participants. This study tour will take place on the same day of the Seminar and will include lunch.
