How has travel changed since COVID-19?

Travel behaviour refers to trip making, that is your daily trips such as going to work, school, shopping and social events.

The UITP MENA Centre for Transport Excellence*, a joint UITP and RTA research center with a focus on promoting public transport and sustainable mobility, wants to identify changes in traveler behaviour since the outbreak of COVID-19, with a specific focus on public transport users.

If you are currently residing in one of the MENA countries*, we invite you to take part in a short 10-minute survey.

Your answers will remain completely anonymous. The survey results will help us understand better how COVID-19 impacted travel behavior and develop measures to meet these changes.

In case of questions or comments, please feel free to email us at [email protected]

Thank you for your interest in participating in this survey.

[1] The UITP MENA Centre for Transport Excellence (CTE) was launched in 2011 as a joint effort between Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) and UITP to unify regional efforts to build sustainable transport systems in MENA countries.

[2] The Middle East and North Africa region (MENA) has many scopes and definitions, but for the sake of this study, the geographic scope shall encompass the countries: Algeria, Bahrain, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Morocco, Oman, the Palestinian Territories, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Tunisia, and the United Arab Emirates.
