UITP releases its 2014 & 2015 Activity Report offering its members and readers a detailed overview of the Association’s activities and achievements over the course of a two-year period.
UITP released today its 2014 & 2015 Activity Report retracing the transformational steps the Association has taken over the past two years to coincide with the significant changes shaping the public transport sector.
“The last two years at UITP have seen the Association undergo a major transformation,” says Alain Flausch, UITP Secretary General. “We listened to your thoughts on our Association and knowing change was necessary we worked hard to make our shared vision the reality you see today.”
The transformation involved giving the Association a fresher and more dynamic feel with a new logo and visual identity, as well as updating its fee structure and membership services. UITP also opened three new offices in Astana, Casablanca and New York to be closer to its members and pursued its well-established knowledge, advocacy and networking activities around the world.
The 60-page report delves into both the highlights and the key milestones achieved over the past two years and looks forward to the challenge of leading the transition to the next horizon for urban sustainable public transport.
“We trust that you will continue to offer us your support in the next two years, with a view to making public transport even more successful,” concluded Mr Flausch.
