Play your part and provide spare parts!

UITP is using its network and expertise to help keep the public transport sector of Ukraine moving. It is asking its members to help find the spare parts Ukrainian operators and authorities need to keep their systems up and running.

The war in Ukraine continues to bring devastating loss and destruction. But it has also shown the tremendous resilience of the Ukrainian people. Throughout all this, the public transport sector is doing everything it can to keep providing essential mobility.

But doing so throughout a war means dealing with disrupted supply chains, damage to infrastructure and much more. Several authorities and operators are in need of spare parts to keep their networks up and running.

Together, UITP and the operators have built a list of the parts that are needed and the contact details to make arrangements. So far, the list contains the requests from , Lviv metro and Ukrainian Railways, but more organisations will be added.
