Objectives

The UITP Academy is organising a series of webinars in the framework of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) outbreak. They aim to assist public transport companies in tailoring their business continuity plans.

Digitalization was already undergoing in the different business areas of Public Transport: Operations, Maintenance, and Customer Service or even in what respects Human Resources policies.  All this digital transformation was already having an impact in the workforce, but with the pandemic, new digital means were imposed, like only cashless payment methods or teleworking to a big part of the staff.

Public Transport must assess what was already happening in terms of digitalization in what regards work organization and work procedures and the impact on staff, in order to better prepare its HR policies for the future.

This webinar will address the following questions:

  • What were the main aspects of the already undergoing digital transformation in Public Transport?
  • What was the impact on the workforce of the undergoing digitalization?
  • What changed in terms of digitalization since the crisis?
  • What impact is the pandemic having on staff?
  • How can Public Transport adapt its staff management policies?
  • How can Public Transport prepare its HR policies for the new reality?

This (max) 90 minute’s webinar in English is free of charge.
