Stations of the Future Workshop - Online

The Stations of the Future project has traveled the world stopping in Singapore, the US and India. This online meeting will complete the workshop and data collection stage of the project adding to the research already compiled.

This workshop is open to a wide audience: operators, designers, infrastructure managers, technology providers…. anyone who has a link to stations.

As the final workshop in the series it will be based on finding how to implement the solutions from the previous workshops to finalise the collection of data for the project.

Implementation, Governance and Financing, will be the main topics of the session which will focus on how to make the identified solutions a reality.

This report is a first step of the study. It summarises the observations identified in existing reports and publications and is based on initial discussions with UITP stakeholders from all around the world. These observations may show changes in the behaviour and needs of citizens and public transport users and will impact the role of the stations in the future as well as any available services and functions.
