The UITP Academy is organising a series of webinars in the framework of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) outbreak. They aim to assist public transport companies in tailoring their business continuity plans.

COVID-19 pandemic affected the entire world of society and the economy. It had a concerning negative impact on all business sectors and workers. Even so, specific concerns arose on female workers. It is crucial to assess the consequences of the pandemic on Public Transport female workforce to provide appropriate mitigation measures.

This webinar will address the following questions:

  • What is the impact of COVID-19 on women in PT for both white and blue-collar workers?
  • What is a pink collar recession?
  • Is there anything positive to this crisis for women in PT?
