UITP Asia-Pacific Webinar: Electric Bus Tendering and Energy Transition

With the authorities’ drive towards greener and cleaner transport, electric buses (e-buses) have been progressively deployed worldwide. It is an expanding market of e-buses in Asia-Pacific region, many highly dense and modern cities are facing different degrees of financial and operational issues.

This webinar will look into:

  • Experience to handle e-bus tendering and energy transition from the authority’s perspective
  • Scoping studies and deployment of e-buses in the region
  • Energy transition in the Bus sector and the impact on the outsourcing of bus operations
  • Improvement of the management efficiency of New Energy Fleets
  • Opportunities and challenges under the impact of COVID19
  • Serve as some recommendations for those governments who are starting up bus lines using electric buses by a newly launch publication from UITP Bus Committee, Bus Tender Structure Report (available from MyLibrary)
