About:

Several major public transport initiatives are underway in Saudi Arabia, including mega public transport projects in Riyadh, in addition to progressive development in regulation and policy. The event is kindly hosted by Public Transport Athority of KSA. The PTA has emerged as an effective and leading public transport authority setting a successful example in the MENA Region and beyond.
The UITP MENA Division meeting (previously called Assembly) is a gathering of all UITP members in the region that takes place every two years. The meeting highlights the work of UITP in MENA and is also complimented by a seminar. As part of this tradition, the seminar with participation from regional and international stakeholders provides a platform for members to share experience, network, and learn about emerging issues affecting public transport. The seminar provides an excellent opportunity for the KSA to showcase recent achievements and discuss the latest challenges faced by KSA.
